John and Dawn Singleton
LifeLine Church was founded in the mid-1970s by John Singleton whose vision was to see the church demonstrate God’s love in real and practical ways, believing God has called us to make a difference in all we do. His revelation of a relationally based church has led us to genuinely care about each other and those around us, empowered by the Holy Spirit to have an impact on our family, community and nation. John led the Core Team, LifeLine’s senior leadership.
Following John’s passing in January 2025, the Core Team continue as the Church’s senior leadership with Jamie Singleton as the primary leader.
Mark Baiden
Mark is a well-connected business owner (IT services) and father of four. He serves within the worship team.
Jamie Singleton
Following John’s passing, Jamie has stepped into the role of primary leader. Along with the core team he is exploring how to build on the foundations of the past 40+ years, carrying the formative values with us into the fresh expression of LifeLine Church in this new generation.

Avril McIntyre MBE
Avril is a catalyst for social change and serves in a number of civic roles. She leads volunteer-driving initiatives to strengthen community. Avril has been at the forefront of many of the church’s endeavours locally.

Neil is a well-loved physics teacher and father of three. Neil serves in the coordination and leading of a team of prayer intercessors.

Elspeth is leading local collaboration with the health system around the role of civil society and the VCFSE involvement in the development of new approaches to health prevention and delivery. She is also part of the church staff team. She is married to Phil and they have 2 adult children.
Anthony McKernan
Anthony is a strategic thinker, creative communicator and previously ran a video production company. Currently Anthony works alongside Paramedics on a London Ambulance.

Richard Griffin
Richard was a science teacher and a department leader for seventeen years in a local school. He and his wife Sue have been in LifeLine church for over forty years. Richard has a heart for facilitating training and development and for helping new people find their place within the LifeLine Community.
Sue Griffin
Sue has been part of LifeLine Church for more than 40 years. She is married to Richard and was a teacher before she retired, having taught geography and ESOL. Her desire is to journey with people from the point where they find a connection to the church right through to when they feel like they really belong.

Phil is an engineering project manager and consultant to the rail industry. His practical and analytical skills are used to serve the church community behind the scenes. He is married to Elspeth and they have 2 adult children.

Sally Dixon
Sally has been part of LifeLine since 1989. She's passionate about helping isolated people find a place of belonging. She and her husband Grant have 3 grown up children and an enthusiastic dog!

Nick Brewer
Nick has been part of LifeLine for his whole life. He has a particular heart for young people, creativity and fellowship. Nick married Ella in the summer of 2021.

Jamie's pastoral heart is reflected in his oversight for the youth ministry, support for our overseas partners through LifeLine Network International and help in the creative content of our teaching.
